Ash Wednesday Service

Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting and repentance for Christians, symbolizing mortality, sin, and the need for spiritual renewal before Easter. Christians receive ashes in the shape of a cross on their foreheads, often with the phrase, "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return," (Genesis 3:19) to acknowledge human frailty and their dependence on God, initiating a time for prayer, sacrifice, and preparation for Christ's resurrection.

Join us on Wednesday, February 18th at 7:00 pm fo our Ash Wednesday Service.
